What really bothers me about the killing of the Huckleberry pack is that false information has been provided as to were range riders present (no) not until after the kill order was initaiated. Where was the rancher when this was happening? He no longer had a shepherd and 4 guard dogs were unsupervised. At LEAST two shepherds for that number of sheep is necessary. The wolves did kill sheep but what do you expect when this rancher grazes in a forested area where the local pack has it's den? The rancher did not dispose of the carcasses of the sheep so in my mind this is called baiting…inviting the wolves back for more food. This whole issue is poor husbandry and lack of transparency to the public that seems to have no input into the decisions made by FWS and the rogue agency Wild life Services. Perhaps over $72,000 will be taken from the tax payers to pay for this senseless onslaught against the Huckleberry Pack. They are Endangered in Washington and every possible measure should be taken to move the darn cattle from that area and to consistently use non lethal deterrents.

Please stop the senseless killing of the wolves. If you think about it there is a double standard here. The wolves kill to eat, no different to the majority of humans, except that most humans get the killing and butchering done for them.
The big difference is that most (I use the word loosely ) humans that kill wolves are sick trophy hunters who kill wolves for no reason other than they get some perverted pleasure from doing so.
In my book that makes those so called humans far worse than any wolf.

Killing these beautiful animals is not the answer. God created all creatures for a reason. wolves are part of a delicate balance. They are necesarry for keeping other animal populations from overbreeding.
