Thanks for a well written, thorough account of the meeting. What was the purpose of this meeting? To set forest policy? Routine, required, public meeting just to go through the motions?

This sounds like a priority for WildCats. An effective campaign could make a difference on so much land and even set a precedent for private lands.

Does the BOF control the (laughably weak) State Forest Practices Act?

What are the levers of action on this? The Gov? The Legislature? The press? The courts?
