Like so many, we are appalled by the recent murders in Atlanta and escalating attacks against members of the AAPI community around the country. We condemn the vilification of people based on their ethnic background, citizenship status, language, religion, gender or other forms of identity.

Though we are currently working remotely, the Cascadia Wildlands office and our events — virtual and eventually again in-person — will always be safe places for people from the AAPI and other BIPOC communities. We oppose racism in all of its insidious manifestations and are committed to making our organization and the Cascadia bioregion more diverse, inclusive, equitable and just.
