Warner Creek 30th Anniversary Victory Celebration

This August marks the 30th anniversary of the victorious campaign ending the Warner Creek Fire Salvage timber sale in the Willamette National Forest near Oakridge, Oregon. Five years of struggle culminated in an 11-month-long nonviolent direct action that became the longest continuous blockade of a timber sale in U.S. history. Some would even argue that Cascadia Wildlands’ birth story was at Warner Creek.
To celebrate this victory join us for an evening of live music with Peter Wilde and Casey Neill, storytelling, archival exhibits, and conversation connecting the legacy of Warner Creek to today’s forest, wildfire, and climate justice struggles. RSVP and get your sliding scale tickets below.
